VEX Group is offering for sale a 2012 Caterpillar/Bucyrus MD6540 Rotary Blasthole Drill, currently undergoing an extensive, high-quality refurbishment and overhaul program at our Mackay, Queensland facility.
With the refurbishment approximately 70% complete and scheduled for completion in early 2027, this presents an excellent opportunity for mining operators and drilling contractors to secure a comprehensively refurbished, high-capacity production drill ahead of its return to service.
The machine is undergoing substantial structural, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical refurbishment, with major components professionally overhauled by reputable specialist providers, including CRAM Fluid Power, Hydratorque, D&T Hydraulics and Penske Mackay.
