Come check out our pre-owned 2018 Forest River R-Pod 178 Hood River Edition, a compact 20-foot travel trailer that sleeps up to four and packs a lot of usable space into a small footprint. The single roadside slide opens up the main living area, giving you a U-shaped dinette that converts into an extra bed, a full kitchen with a two-burner cooktop, a 3.7 cubic foot refrigerator and overhead cabinet storage, and a rear queen bed with plenty of pass-through storage underneath. A wet bath with an integrated shower, toilet and sink keeps everything self-contained, and the 6'6" interior height and light shaker-style cabinetry make the cabin feel bigger than the exterior suggests. The Hood River Edition adds higher ground clearance, X-Treme 15" off-road tires on aluminum wheels, a double entry step and a MaxxAir vent cover, which makes this one a good fit for gravel roads and backcountry campgrounds. R-Pod construction includes welded aluminum sidewalls and floor, a seamless fibreglass roof, a two-tone gel-coat fibreglass exterior and a powder-coated steel frame riding on an independent torsion axle with self-adjusting brakes. For the campsite, you also get a 20,000 BTU furnace, a 6-gallon gas/electric water heater, a 55-amp converter, four stabilizer jacks, a dual battery rack and an air conditioner-ready roof. This unit also comes with a hitch setup and a Jackit bike rack, so you can hook up and get on the road with your bikes without any extra shopping.CHASSIS/RUNNING GEAR: Powder coated steel frame. 2" coupler.
