Description
Overall nice shedded head but it has seen some acres, Knives have been flipped so they are ready to be replaced, chains need replaced, Idler and drive sprockets seem to be OK , will check bearings in the idlers and check for play in the drive sprockets when we inspect it, Sprockets themselves don’t seem to be cupped, We will bring in - replace knives, replace chains - top off gearboxes - check end oil bath level, WE WILL check that height sensors all work - grease it and it will be ready to go, Well maintained by original owners and they keep their stuff in great condition, But this head has seen some acres, Auger drive and row unit drive chains and sprockets have been flipped on the back of the head, So the customer found that making the auger run faster compared to the row units fixed a lot of their fluffing issues in dry conditions Snouts all look good, row units were working during harvest 2025
