This Unverferth Zone Builder 7-shank subsoiler at 30" spacing fractures compacted soil layers up to 20 inches deep to improve root development and water infiltration, featuring a heavy-duty frame with adjustable positioning from 20-40" row spacings and low-disturbance 3/4"-wide shanks with heat-treated cast wearbars. The shank protector kits add 1/4"-thick abrasion-resistant steel guards to extend shank life in rocky conditions, while optional shatter wings and fertilizer attachments enhance soil fracturing and nutrient placement.
